PROPER FITNESS

As a Personal Trainer, Rory's vision was to transfer those skills online and serve more people. We helped him create a comprehensive programme with upper body, lower body, full body and cardio workouts to help everyday people kickstart their fitness. For the Coach, all exercise videos, written instructions and session planning needs to be completed only once. Individual abilities are established through various health forms, consultations and fitness tests allowing the Coach to set reps and intensity levels accordingly.

 

For example, client no. 1 may be working through 3 x 12 reps of bicep curls with 5kg dumbells and client no. 2 may be working through 4 x 20 reps of bicep curls with 2kg dumbbells. Either way, both will be performing the same exercise ( or a variation) to suit their individual fitness levels.

Rory has 12 nutritional topics which he sets personal challenges for individual members to attempt each week. For example, week 1 is all about our hydration with optimum daily levels. Week 2 sets a focus on fresh fruit and vegetables and requires members to try eating something new or increase a particular food our diets lack. The beauty of having your own system designed to suit your business means you can be flexible and even, unique in your offering. Although Rory's main online service is a 12-week program, he will have clients repeat weeks if needed, extending the 12-week period to 16 or even 20 weeks when necessary.

SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE FITNESS TIPS FOR EVERYDAY PEOPLE

Rory kept his online offering to one section of the market. He set out to serve 'beginners and re-starters' to fitness and provides close support over a relatively short time; helping clients integrate healthy habits into their routines. We found that less was more in the very early stages of a fitness journey and unnecessary clicking could hinder usage and ultimately reduce the likelihood of the user reaching their fitness goal. Our designs and layouts allow users to follow their personalized plan and gain access to their Coach via the fastest and clearest route.

REFINED TARGET MARKET FOR 12 WEEK PROGRAM SUCCESS

We included features to sell virtual tickets for Rory's Health Awareness Days to promote and manage attendees easily through the website and to automate relevant tags to contacts who showed an interest so we could engage them at a later date. Another useful feature was to add a video channel to host recordings and footage of previous events for those who missed out and want to stay updated.
